awesome! having a place like this to learn is so important. its not necessary, but it makes the process much better. I have a nature area I can walk my dog to and fly and 100% that has made me a much better pilot, but only for sub250 builds. keep doing what youre doing and you'll be just fine! if you can build some semi-permanent race/dive gates out of 4x4 and plywood (and foam/cut up pool noodles), then youre really gonna be cooking with gas.

Just a quick question: I own the Meteor 75 Pro 2, and lately, I’ve seen a lot of people posting about the Air 65. I’m wondering—does anyone have both, or even just one of them? Do they offer the same kind of experience, with the 65 simply being smaller?

I have multiples of 65/75mm in hdzero, dji, and analog with mixed components. comparing a 65/75mm to a 3" would make the 65/75mm seem pretty similar, comparing the 65mm to the 75mm would be noticeably different. the only time ive broken an o4 is flying it on a 65mm inside, I personally think 65mm is too small for the o4. It really depends on what type of flying you want to do though. If you are looking to learn freestyle, a 65mm analog with 5in1 aio is hard to beat. My custom 65mm analog is my most flown drone because I can power loop my dining room table while drinking morning coffee and its 'only' $50-$60 if somehow break the aio. If you just want to do outdoor cinematic flying, then a pavo20 series might be a better next step.

I've been participating in some of the Central Texas Drone Racing whoop races. The first few laps I'm sharing are at Celis Brewery, a brewpub in North Austin.

I'm slow and I need a an absolute ton more experience and stick time, but I'm having fun with it. It's always great to see the other pilots and I get to watch some truly inspirational flying.

The final lap I share is from a race at Cabana Club in East Austin. I found the track at Cabana Club a lot more challenging, but I managed to find one lap that was worth sharing.

I'm flying Calcifer, a HappyModel Mobula6 HD Race with HDZero AIO.

You’re coming along nicely, keep practicing. Something i suggest is trying to slow down and get LOW. Reduce camera angle, at least at first. Try hitting those smaller gaps around your property and keep your altitude consistent. Do tight orbits, plenty of great features on your property to fly around.

For every orbit/lap in one direction, do another orbit/lap in the opposite direction. Do some of the switches immediately and without interim maneuvers. This can help with brain plasticity and muscle memory so you dont end up doing more advanced tricks in only one direction. This can apply to pretty much all tricks. Avoid the power lines, especially doing the blind half of tricks in their direction (like the back half of a power loop). If you ever need extra concentration, or the kids aren't listening, take a seat and that will help open up some subconscious processing that would have been used for balance. Looking forward to the next one!

Nah, not interested in AIO's (at least not right now 😂)
while my FC could connect to a standard 4in1 ESC with a modified cable harness its nicer to have an 4in1 ESC which already has the same connector. The main issue right now is placing all components on a "tiny" pcb and later on finding a way to connect/route them properly. the real test comes when I m building it IRL. Because if it works then it will most likely be noisy as f...
soldering will definitely be a fun challange for both boards..

I most likely will try to utilize a stencil to apply solder paste and then use a hotplate/heat gun after placing the components to solder everything on it.

My life so far with the GEPRC Darkstar 22. Pretty sweet little cinewhoop. My biggest issue was with the rubber grommets but I fixed that by putting in little screws and nuts to hold them in.

I just joined a few minutes ago- trying to list a drone store worth of FPV gear on the marketplace. Is there a grace period before I can list items for sale? THANK YOU

I have an entire drone store of FPV equipment from 2017-2018. 90% brand new in sealed packaging. From racerstar to EMAX and everything in between. Frames, quads, tiny whoops, 1000’s of props, ESC’s, motherboards, motors, etc. would like to sell it all, a couple Mavic Pro originals with less than 6 hours flight time on each. The goggles in the photo are available, but in used/like new condition. Everything has been stored in temperature controlled storage units, inside Pelican Air 1615 cases. Everything is in pristine condition if it is used. Would like to find a bulk buyer if possible.

I would just make a listing for each type of product.

Just on the price you have. it may be difficult selling 8 year old gear. You can basically get some new DJI n3s for a close price. Best of luck

So from racedayquads i got the deepspace seeker 35 04 pro with elrs and gps it comes with the bz-121 mod and as in the picture the tx is to rx and rx to tx and its uart 4 which i updated in beta and this drone has yet to lock on a satellite since ive gotten it. The gps module lights up a solid red light but it should be blinking..any ideas?

How long are you letting it look for gps and are you doing it under completely open sky? It could take +5 minutes before the gps locks the first time at a spot. Once it locks it should reconnect faster when you have to switch out batteries. But you also might not have compatible satellites in the area you're trying. Looks like the solid red light means it's searching for satellites, which is good/means it's working.
