Introducing the DIYFPV simulator
It’s free, runs on almost anything, requires no install, saves your best lap times. Has a full map editor. You can adjust both your drone setup and world physics, race against ghosts, import and export your worlds to share with friends and a bunch more.
This is a really special moment for me. I know that DIYFPV helps so many pilots enjoy our hobby and the DIYFPV simulator is another tool that will get more people flying and enjoying the skies. I put so many hours into making this and it feels crazy that its now live and people can enjoy it.
Thank you to every single pilot who is part of this amazing hobby. Thank you to each and every one of you here on DIYFPV. It is our absolute pleasure to get people flying and enjoying FPV. FPV changed my life in such an impactful way and I want you to know that you are valued, care about and an important part of this hobby.
I hope you enjoy the new sim, Grab your radio and give it a go - maybe set that world record time I need to update for everyone to race https://www.diyfpv.com/resources/fpv-drone-simulator its up under the resources tab with all the other cool tools.
Happy flying
Stew and the whole DIYFPV team.

Hi, I’m new to this hobby. I’ve clocked up nearly 25 hours on a simulator, and I was wondering if that’s enough to fly a real drone, and if not, what you think the minimum number of hours I should aim to get one
Thank you very much

Second flight with the Flywoo 18... more cinematic than acrobatic... very nice... powerful, and 6 minutes of flight time. Not bad! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eu6UAubBNGc

Hey all, new flyer here hoping for some help.
I have a Mobula 8 with HdZero Box Pro and a Radiomaster TX15.
I've been having a persistent issue when flying that it only transmits from the VTX at 20Mw and digital feed becomes static at around 25m when my understanding is it should be much much farther. I've tried a few fixes only including in my LuA Script and forcing power level 2 (did nothing) and ensuring properly set up on SpeedyBee. Not really sure what I'm missing.
Hopefully I've provided enough info and I'm missing something simply (I have thick skin). Attached are screenshots showing my R : 1 : 20 and my SpeedyBee settings, not sure if that's even helpful.
Thanks I'm advance for any help on this, not sure where else to turn to.

Riverside park - Incredibly good weather two days in a row. The universe has been kind.
Makes a difference getting some air time. Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement. All Aussies will know the song. Good memories.

So I finally removed the prop guards on my Flywoo — and honestly? It's convincing. Feels like a whole new setup: lighter, snappier, way more responsive. Oh, and yeah… I had to swap out a motor along the way. But now? All dialed in and flying perfect.

Does anybody have a use Tinywhoop that uses ELRS protocol and a bt2.0 pig tail? (i'm on a really tight budget sooo can you guys put down the price?) I would like to purchase it if he/her is near me(check my map). Hopefully the motor wires comes with plug because I'm not that confident in my soldering skill . :) I just want to get back in the air.

Thanks ..
