My life so far with the GEPRC Darkstar 22. Pretty sweet little cinewhoop. My biggest issue was with the rubber grommets but I fixed that by putting in little screws and nuts to hold them in.

Thanks! Yeah that location is about an hour and a half from where I live. There's some places in LA but you have to go to the outer areas to fly a 5 inch to practice unless you go to a park early. I think getting a tinywhoop would be good to start. I've been seeing a lot of guys using those in LA and getting super cool guerilla flights. After I got my Avata 2 I got the GEPRC cinelog 35 but it's a little loud and tricky to fly indoors since it has power. Then I got a Vapor D5 and it's great but it's pretty powerful and might be a lot to handle at first. I'd recommend a smaller Pavo 20 or Darkstar cinewhoop since they're still fast but not too crazy and good for practice

I looked on their site but couldn't find them yet. So I just went through all my random screws and found some. I think they're M2 10mm but they're a little short so the grommets get smooshed a bit. 12mm might be better but I didn't have any. Still works pretty well though even though it's a little snug

Thanks! Yes, that location is amazing and close to a highway so easy access. Really want to climb up to the top to do more flights up there

After seeing the new GEPRC Darkstar 25, I decided to install screws, washers, and nuts to my Darkstar 22 and now those rubber grommets don't rip off. So much better since they would easily rip on even small crashes.

Yeah there was a little bit of current but I'm sure it's not too far and it's not that deep. But we couldn't see a thing in that water. Sad that my friend lost his phone right when we were leaving too.

I did a full DeepSpace Seeker 35 build from scratch and something happened during my first flight which caused me to crash into a lake.
