It's a good way to start flying - i started with a photo drones and swiftly changed to fpv - but as the rest have mentioned it's not an FPV quadcopter set-up you've selected and if you want to get into the wonderful world of fpv you're best starting with a small "tiny whoop" or "toothpick" quadcopter. They run on 1s or 2s lipo batteries so aren't as powerful as the bigger quads and are a great, cost effective way to get into this hobby.
If you've got a budget of 1k you have lots of options available to you for fpv gear.
The goggles are the most expensive part of the investment but they will hold their value for resale if you lose interest (you won't!).
Great thing about our quads is they are all relatively easy to repair.
Quads: happymodel mobula6 £85
Or happymodel Mobula8 approx £100
Goggles : you have the budget for top Skyzone04s. I recommend any skyzone goggle. They're great and they'll last you for years.
Eachine has a range of good budget friendly goggles worth checking out too.
Transmitter : Radiomaster Pocket. You've got the budget for something bigger and better, but Stew swears by the Radiomaster Pocket and uses it as his daily driver.
If you want a photo drone I'd look go for DJIs stuff. You'll prob get a mini2 or mini3 set up for a good price these days.
DJI tech is reliable and they've good customer service, and also care packages for beginners.
