Ok, I assumed this is what was really going on. I think I understand now. What I didn't realize is that you're not going to overlay the picture in the final product. With that in mind, your decisions make a LOT more sense. Still love the feature

I've been playing around with the builder some more and I've gotten a review or two. I understand *whyyy* they want me to put capacitors and chips and all the pinouts and such. However, a lot of times that stuff isn't documented. I don't know what every little component is, or what the specific pinout of a plug is, or what a random, unlabeled pad is. That stuff is simply not documented. At some point I simply cannot comply with the standards.

Note: I could guess at capacitors and resistors and such, they usually look the same. However, I refuse to add something unless I'm 99% sure that it is correct. I think these expectations taking away from the kind of volume the builder needs. I think the blanks will be filled in as needed eventually.

I'm already addicted to the builder thing. It's so fun

Looks pretty good, honestly. Remember for when you get to harder maps: the smoother your turns are, the faster you're probably going. Slow is fast, fast is slow

This is normally a PID issue. Assuming this came right out of a box and you immediately flew it (do NOT update the firmware on BNFs unless you're experienced), I would contact btfpv.

If it spins freely-ish, run it (I can't really see from the pic). Otherwise you may have to replace the motor :( or at the very least the bell.

Thanks for the tip on the text! I finished the design, and I think I'm just unused to the ui and functions. I'm coming from a lot of CAD this summer and I got the hang of it. The text stuff definitely needs work. But overall it feels fairly polished for how new it is.

I'm interested to see where this goes. I've heard a lot of people say that ADRC is only really suited for lifting and camera drones where performance and latency aren't an issue Not sure If there's much truth to this, but I'd believe it at first

As much fun as the builder has been, there are a few parts that make it really annoying for me.

1: I still can't use my own reference images, making it impossible to do both sides, if the product images are not good enough (they never are).

2: The grid is a bit too big for my liking (not that bad tbh).

3: Why can't you move the text freely, and why does it have to stay in the limitations of the board?

4: Why doesn't the text go over the top of everything? The components added at the end are not really useful at all, why do they override my labels?

The only really annoying thing it that I just can't finish the on I started because the product pictures have the top down view with both sides in one. Tough luck?

In my experience, you need *huge* areas to fly 5". If you have that, it's great. If you don't, maybe stick with smaller stuff

Replied to comment on a troubleshoot question Can I download Radiomaster Pocket games onto my Gx12?

Extract and put it in the radio right?

Yep, I'm stumped 🤷. Glad you got the others working!

Replied to comment on a troubleshoot question Cooked walksnail 1s vtx (V3)

Did you wire it? If so, where did you wire it to? I think all of the 1s vtxs are rated for 3.1-13v, so its impossible for a 2s quad to make enough voltage to fry it... right? Unless you plugged in a higher voltage battery of course.

Also, if its a bnf and it just smoked when you plugged in. They should totally replace it.

Man... What happened exactly, and are there any lights turning on? Those symptoms pretty much mean it's dead. Also what do you mean by debug pins?

The games found on the Pocket will be in the "Scripts" folder. The only one I see is snake tho. Any Lua-based game that you find should work, just do some searching ;). There's some cool ones on here (https://github.com/EdgeTX/lua-scripts/blob/main/games.md). To play them, you just need to put them into the "Scripts" folder on your radio. (I usually put them into the "tools" folder so they show up in the elrs screen)

Keeping an eye out. I think it may be able to take over a lot of the cheap fpv market eventually. Should be interesting in a year or two.

Let's take flight together and elevate the world of FPV drones to new heights.
