Based in Rolleston, Canterbury I've been into fpv drones for about a year now. I haven't had a lot of time to hone my flying skills as much as I would like so still very much a beginner in that department. Have built several drones though which I really enjoy. Can also design and make my own carbon fibre frames which I also enjoy.

..Swapped from analog to digital...

OK so I have a 3 inch quad I converted from analog to digital (walksnail).

All I did basically was to remove the analog vtx and wire in the walksnail and adjusted the uart accordingly and chose the preset for the OSD. Everything seems to be working but I still have the old vtx table showing on the vtx tab in betaflight.

Question is.. should I have started from scratch and reset the AIO after changing the vtx or can I just clear the vtx table somehow as it is no longer relevant.?

I don't use DJI personally but I have seen a lot of people commenting on issue's they are having with durability and other teething problems. So for that reason alone I will stick with analog and Walksnail as my vtx choices.

A very capable little quad and can take a bit of abuse. Great in calm to light wind conditions but definitely struggles when the wind pics up but that's what you'd expect. Reasonable range and I've found good run time with 550mah batteries.

Recommendations for motor/prop combos please.

I want to build a whoop from scratch for some cinematic video including some indoor work.

I have a Pavo20 Pro bare frame as the bones. I want to run 3S packs.

The Pavo20 normally comes with the Lava 1104 7200kv motors. Are these still a good option for indoor cinematic shots if I fiddle with the rates and motor output or should I consider something else. I'm a but green on this part of the hobby so bare with me..

@flysquirrelFPV it's really basic I didn't put a lot of thought into the design at the time as I just wanted something quick that would work. I do plan on refining it if you want to wait a little.

It's a ripper of a quad. Agree with the battery lead comment. Also needs some better camera protection. I printed my own. Simple but effective.

As said just leave it as it is with the exception of some better protection for the camera. That's what I did with mine.

I've had it for a while but can't get it to work properly with my radiomaster boxer so I have to use keyboard controlls which isn't as fun

Nice. I've been wanting to try those supernova motors for some time but they are a little pricy for my liking. The T-Rex is a good camera so I definitely recommend it.

I have had success removing the pins from the connector before using a jeweller's screwdriver. You could try that otherwise just buy a few new connectors from your local or aliexpress

I couldn't find any files to help but I think designing your own is the way to go anyway..
