Just started a transaction on the marketplace here and it got me thinking - there should be a way to rate sellers and buyers. Kinda like ebay has. That way if someone misrepresents a sale, takes an unreasonable time to ship, etc. they can be given a low rating. Same for sellers and buyers who provide a really good exchange - they should be up voted. Maybe even a way to provide positive or negative comments on the transaction like yelp or Google reviews.
Just a thought.

I connected diydpv mcp to my hermes ai agent and asked: I am looking for a new fpv google. Max Budget is 130 dolars. Find it using the diy fpv mcp.
It said this:
Based on my search using the DIYFPV MCP system, here are the FPV goggles under $130 I found:
🏆 Best Value OptionEMAX Transporter 2 HD FPV Goggles/Monitor w/ DVR for HDZero — $66.27- Cheapest overall — Unmanned Tech Shop (UK): 50 GBP (~$66 USD)- 13 stores carry it; in-stock at most- Note: Designed for HDZero protocol, not analog
~$100 OptionsEMAX Transporter 2 5.8GHz FPV Goggles — $98.99- From Emax US: $98.99 USD- 5 stores carry it; in-stock at most- Standard analog 5.8GHz format
FatShark Echo FPV Goggles — $99.00- From Rotor Riot: $99.00 USD- 6 stores carry it; in-stock at most- Well-known brand; analog format; good resale value
iFlight Analog FPV Goggles — $102.47- From Drone FPV Racer (France): 89.90 EUR- 6 stores carry it; in-stock at most- Good DVR feature; analog format
Summary Recommendation
**EMAX Transporter 2 HD**• Price: $66.27• Protocol: HDZero• Key Feature: Cheapest, HD digital**
EMAX Transporter 2 5.8GHz**• Price: $98.99• Protocol: Analog• Key Feature: Standard analog, DVR
**FatShark Echo**• Price: $99.00• Protocol: Analog• Key Feature: Brand-name, proven reliability
**iFlight Analog**• Price: $102.47• Protocol: Analog• Key Feature: DVR built-in
Which type do you fly? If you have an HDZero system, the $66.27 EMAX Transporter 2 HD is an incredible deal. If you fly analog, the FatShark Echo at $99 is the most recognized brand, or the EMAX Transporter 2 5.8GHz at $98.99 offers great value.
I don't know if it is caused by my ai model or the mcp but it said Emax Transporter 2 HD is 66 dolars. I looked it up and it is a defective model. If there is a way, sorting defectives out would be nice.

Hey guys, what’s the best way to report some FPV simulator glitches to the devs?
I’m going to a school to teach kids how drones work and how to fly them. Before letting them use real drones, I wanted to use the DIYFPV simulator, since it’s by far the best browser-based simulator I’ve found, especially because it supports both FPV and third-person views.
The issue is that, when using self-level mode, there’s no pitch control, and the front of the drone keeps changing direction. There are also a few other issues that I haven’t been able to figure out.
im using the dji rc 3.
I imagine it might be a relatively simple fix using Claude or something similar, but I’d really appreciate it if these bugs could be looked into and, hopefully, fixed soon.
Thanks!

FPV is kind of a peak for several skill trees, so to speak. We need lots of other skills to fully experience the hobby from build to flight. Could we get a "Greater Skill Tree" section to post non-FPV builds, resources, etc that got us here? I really, really enjoy seeing people's projects of all sorts, it helps me refocus and get inspired with all my own stuff.

So from racedayquads i got the deepspace seeker 35 04 pro with elrs and gps it comes with the bz-121 mod and as in the picture the tx is to rx and rx to tx and its uart 4 which i updated in beta and this drone has yet to lock on a satellite since ive gotten it. The gps module lights up a solid red light but it should be blinking..any ideas?

Hey, not sure if I'm in the right section....but for the "Marketplace" filters...There are European countries where somebody is selling something....Would be possible to add "Europe" to filter? So user don't need to select european countries one by one? Usually shipping across Europe is easily possible...So I'd like to see all advertisements from Europe.
Thx :)

Question about the builder and parts, generally but maybe mostly to devs/reviewers of parts:
What part categories are lacking the most - is it receivers/FCs/ESCs/sensors/something else?
(Mainly looking for where you would like me and others to focus most on trying to add parts as opposed to what I've been doing so far: just grab something I want to work on randomly.)

Hey folks, anyone in the Washington State area know of good spots to fly FPV? Specifically looking for bandos.
also - if anyone knows of meet and greets for beginners I’m keen on finding those!

Duplicate part found (I think)
"TBS Crossfire Nano RX FPV Long Range Drone Receiver"
&
"TBS Crossfire Nano 900MHz Receiver w/CRSF Micro Antenna"
TBS doesn't make two versions named like that from what I can see on their page, and if images of the products in the builder are rotated they seem to match perfectly.
See attached screenshots & link below.

Ps, please advice if you want me to stop reporting duplicates and or want me to report them in some other way than "spamming" the #suggestions when I find them. <3

Duplicate parts in the builder.
There are now duplicate parts either imported or manually added, example:
SpeedyBee F405 is listed as having 3 versions.
Problem:
Only 2 exist.
(The F405 Wing APP & F405 Wing MINI (The name of the imported parts suggests 3 exist but that's probably due to naming issues from rotor riot or the source of the imported parts))
Consequence:
We now have multiple ppl working on a part that doesn't even really exist.
Verifiable via SpeedyBees own website, see screenshots and links below.

Free FPV tool idea: OSD profile creator
I have an idea for another free FPV tool that might be handy: an OSD profile creator without the need of a plugged in flight controller. What I'm thinking of is the Betaflight OSD tab, and any customization can be saved to a CLI dump to be used across multiple quads and shared online. I also think it would not be totally out of place if it were part of this website.

Suggestion for Builder:
Add a function to mark a part as problematic/incorrect/legacy/etc and be able to add comments to it so future creators of parts don't spend time on something that is either incorrectly named or imported.
Reasoning: there are now parts in the builder imported - I assume, from rotor riot.
Example:
This part "Holybro Tekko32 F4 Metal 32Bit 65A 30x30 4in1 ESC" that has been updated and the imported version is as far as I can find, no longer sold with the imported design and specs - like the firmware etc.

Suggestion for Builder
Components that have a wire and not just pads: when the feature opens up to allow us to submit own pictures, could this be a possible workaround? See my attached photos, basically: Clear picture of the component with the end of the wire on top of the part on one side?
(Obviously with better placement of the connector etc to not block as much - these are just example photos.)

How exactly this review pushback works in the Builder? I submitted the part, it got pushed back to Draft, but without any comment from the reviewer. So it is not really clear what should be improved?
There were some missing topics on the part, e.g. some pins in the ribbon connector were not labeled. They were not labeled, because I don't know how I should label them, based on the information provided from the manufacturer. Probably someone more experienced is able to do it based just on experience. The question here is what is a better way of working: guessing the pad, or leaving it unknown (like I did), so during review someone more experienced can fill this gap, when 95% of the part is already correctly done?
The part in question was GEPRC TAKER G4 45A 8Bit AIO, and ribbon cable to O3 air unit. On the manufacturer website there is only scheme with labels on the air unit side, with RX and TX cables labelled. But RX on VTX side should be TX on the FC side, if I am not mistaken. How to interpret it? I don't know, and I don't want to make a mistake that will slip the review and cause even more confusion in the builder later.
The builder require tons of parts to be drawn, and there can be people in the community willing to invest time into it, but without expertise to deliver 100%, so what is the proper workflow for such person?

The new drone builder is really a great idea.
I made already 3 parts of my drone.
But I'm missing an option to use own photos, to build the parts, because some photos are taken in an angle, but I have some other directly from front and back (mostly found in the manuals).
Also a contact in the drone builder to report bugs, missing functions or suggestions for improvements would be fine (i.e. I tried to build a PWM-receiver, but I didn't found a part to build the servo-connectors).
