I’d say “being a bird” like 6 year old me always wanted to be.

I wish that frame used anywhere normal sized props and had thicker arms though I’m always glad to make a new build haha.

No problem at all. You can also just cut off the ends of those and stick an xt60 on where to save some weight.

They are the same thing really. New aio is just the old one with a built in receiver. Which technically makes it heavier than old external version if you weigh them both out, but just barely. I’d just get whatever is in stock and is cheapest between the two. Both the air65 and the air75 were updated in this manor this year. The new antenna design is nice though.

As far as what one to get a 75 will be flys or inside but a little harder due to more power and larger. A 65 however won’t fly outside as well. I couldn’t decide what one to get either, so I got both lol. I fly the 65 more often though, outside too for guerrilla whooping :)

If budget isn’t of any concern this is the way.

04o pro. Otherwise the price is encroaching on just the hdz setup with an analog module.

It depends on what you are going for in goggles and fpv in general. If you would elaborate, even slightly, that would allow us to give you relevant guidance.

I started to type something out then was like wait why am I putting more time and thought into this than op…

@jfpoulin rates are personal. Generally newer people want to use lower ones but there’s absolutely no such thing as these are the best settings for everyone as far as that goes.

@jfpoulin for reference, that’s not the throttle. That’s your rates. Throttle is in the same tab but to the bottom right of it.

Did you configure the ESCs yourself or update their FW? If so see this page:

Replied to comment on a troubleshoot question What nuts am I supposed to use?

Don’t use it on anything that touches the props. You should use it on the motor screws though that attach the motor to the frame. Locktite blue.

I'm pretty sure lock tight dissolves props and makes them explode midair. Bardwell warns about it pretty often.

Yeah I requested an refund, and about the thightening never hurts to mention it. But I made sure that they were locked thought as far as they go acoroding to they’re specifications using an electric plier wich measures who much force something is thightend

That is very odd. Since this is probably a pretty new quad, I would definitely email geprc about it. If you're doing everything how they intended it should not loosen.

Also, make sure you're tightening them down enough, I know it's annoying to hear that, but it's always possiblew.

I was heavily considering getting those goggles for analog vs the skyzones I got instead. In hindsight I think the fit and comfort probably would have been better with the setup you have now. Have fun :)

Disarm. 3 sec is plenty of time to hit a switch. Welcome to fpv haha

I’d also spend less on the first quad and more on the goggles. Goggles 3 are incredible, n3 not so much. And it’s what you will use with all your quads so that’s more important than a fancy first quad you are going to immediately break.

Why the nexa over the ikon? I wouldn’t get a 5” for a first drone. I’d also get a mark5 over the Nazgul every day. I’m not a fan of deadcat frame’s handling either.

Let's take flight together and elevate the world of FPV drones to new heights.
