My favorite "Moment" definetly was, when I build my very first drone and had my first experience with cinematic flying on our own private music festival. Even though my flying still sucked at the time, my buddies and I often come back to these Edits and feel right back Home! And that's the Magic for me. Capturing and preserving beautiful Moments ❤️

Left a review on product DarwinFPV BabyApe II 3.5" Freestyle FPV HD Drone - ELRS 2.4G

Perfect beginner Drone!

If you have little Money and want to start into FPV, this is a perfect Drone for you.

It's powerfull, efficient, it flies great! And If you manage to break anything, the spare parts are cheap.


The only thing, I would really change, is the camera. It's indestructable but I dont like the image quality.

Other than that, just keep some spare motors.


Only can recommend this one!

@MrZombieJ The drone in these kits ist rarely the problem. I just think, If you will buy good stuff later anyway, just buy it to begin with.
Why buy a Kit with a good drone but semi good goggles and radio? 

I knew I want to fly cinematic. But I started on Analog, because of budget. And as I said, few months later, I bought new goggles plus camera again. So I didnt save any money by going cheap in the end.

But everyone goes their own way. I'm just giving some personal tips ^^

Hey,
So at first, dont buy any Rtf Kits. You will end up with Low quality Stuff, that no one wants to have. 
If you are in a budget, then the RM Pocket is your best Take. 
Goggles either Analog or Digital, you have to decide. I would recommend Digital. You will definetly enjoy the Image quality for casual use.
I started with analog, because of Budget. But 4 months later, I switched over to DJI.


For the drone, get a BnF. A bind and fly. No building, high quality most of the time and only a short Setup time.


Batteries you can get nearly everything, as long as it matches the drone. 
And dont buy a cheap charger. You dont want to mess with these batteries, trust me.


If youre interested, my Beginner Kit was:


RM Pocket 
Eachine EV800DM (Not the D's)
Darwin Babyape II (Not V2)
Tattu R Line 650mah
HTRC T240 Duo


Great Stuff, low cost Stuff. In hindsight, I only would get DJI N3 Goggles instead and O4 Air Unit with Flywoo Accessories.

I hope the 04 lite will get better support with time. But If, I'm totally switching to DJI.
But I am also excited, what Caddx will doch next...

Yeah actually the non air mode idle is set by the non dynamic idle. But if you have dynamic on, then you can’t set that value. So you have to turn dynamic off, set it, then turn it back on. It’s stupid. I think I heard they were changing it in bf 4.6 but idk.

To my knowledge, dynamic idle starts only when in Airmode. The RPM in arming stays the Same.

So cinewhoops are made specially for filming purposes. They have always prop-guards on, so you cant hurt anyone, when flying near other living things. But prop-guards are bad for aerodynamics and they add extra weight. To counter this, they often have thinner frames, that can break more easily.


And I think, everything without propguards you could call a ´´freestyle´´.
They all have cameras, but on cinewhoops you dont have the props in view, because that would suck in a video.

I am just flying for a few days, so my experience is definetly limited. 
Does it have to be a Cinewhoop, because they tend to be more fragile than classic freestyle frames. The Cineape has a plate thickness of 2.5mm and from what I heard, the Flylens tend to break at the camera mount. 
I myself will get to cinewhoops later, but for the start, I bought a BabyApe 2.
It´s inexpensive, does behave very well and it´s quite sturdy (5mm Arms).
