Hi, sure these motors can be used for 3,5 inch. For example Crux 35 uses motors 1404 and 3500 kv on 4S and it's waaaaay below 250, and it's 3,5 inch :)

Can i use these motors?
I am currently building a 3.5" sub250g drone for 3s (because of the weight. 4s would be to heavy sadly). I need motors with max. 10g weight each. I found the newbeedrone flow 1404 4000kv motors, but they are rated for 3" and 4s. Can i still use them for 3.5" 3s?

:)
you can always save tune profile you already have and apply anohter one that you're tunning. That is great experience to tune it by yourself - no matter if you use basement tunning or any other. Seeing what change does to your flight if you increase P or I or D is amazing. :)

For future builds - it would be better and cheaper if you learn to tune it and than tune it yourself using PIDToolbox or Blackbox log explorer. Or both :)
You can find a lots of tutorials on YT - Bardwell or Chris Rosser, or UAV Tech, or PIDToolbox Guy. For me PIDToolbox Guy and Bardwell are the most I undrestand. But all of these 4 guys are amazing and it's worth learning from them.

Thanks for your reply first of all 😊 I already watched some video (from Chris Rosser) and i understood most of the parts. But i have some problems with a few parts, because english is not my motherlanguage, so i don't understand everything perfectly. I already got the tune from someone, but i think i will try to tune it myself first.

Foxeer Mega 3.5 PID tune
I am currently building a sub250g drone with a quite heavy frame (the foxeer mega 3.5, around 100g). But i don't know how to PID tune yet. So i wanted to ask if someone already has a PID tune for this quad or a similar quad. Otherwise i just have to learn PID tuning.

Your motors should come with a nut that's used to screw down props. at least all my 5" builds had that. whereas whoop has no screws whatsoever 😅

M2x7mm bolts https://www.racedayquads.com/products/m2-x-7mm-steel-bolt-10pack-for-t-mount-props
The motors should come with some, but they are easy to loose, so spares are always good to have

I assume @justin28 was asking about T-Mount props specifically, which have one hole for the shaft and one on each side for an M2 bolt

At the moment, flying spots are disabled, but it will be available soon! We're actively working on this feature 🤩 🤫

THANK YOU!! This was driving me nuts. After this comment I replaced my yellow wire from my camera to my flight controller and it worked. So everything was working it was just a broken wire between the two. I just assumed my camera or something was broken because I could see the "osd" but no image. you just saved me $30. Thank You.

Lens Cap: Ensure the lens cap isn't still on the camera (simple but happens!).

The reason you can see the battery info is because that’s a completely seperate system than the camera feed, as the OSD gets added to whatever input signal it has from the camera and then it gives the signal plus the OSD to the VTX, so the Flight controller working, butyour camera is disconnected or broken
