Any suggestion for a 6S Powertrain for the Mojito? I have a lot of 6s packs, but no 8S. And 2x 4S in serial is also not my fav. option due to the different age / wear level of the packs.

Caddy, give me a Avatar GT with 4k on oard recording, and I will sell my DJI-Stuff. But a Moonlight without Range, and a GT without 4k is like a Storm without Wind.

@LouisXVIII There are - just not in the usually know places. We hide a bit more, because the legal shade of grey of our flights is WAY darker than usual copter flights :-) And yes, for the crazy 2 figure flights currently you 1.3 analog, but digital ist not that far behind. A proper Walksnail Groundstation, or even OpenHD with 2W TX and Sat Dish on the Ground also goes nearly 100km.

Walksnail Avatar GT plus their external VRX on a Tripod with big Antennas is something DJI cannot compete against. There is no DJI System giving you a 50+km Range, no Goggles with HDMI-IN, no HDMI-Out. So Walksnail indeed has reason to exist.

And yes, going Open Source with the Firmware would most likely give us the best available System very quick, just think about ExpressLRS :-)

ATOMRC Store looks fine, not a cheating Popup-Store with not even a proper name. Just pay by Paypal, at least then there is some layer of security inbetween. Got cheated enough on Aliexpess :-/

My Dragon2 just got a new Nose. Before it had an old DJI Air Unit, with a hard limit to 13.5km max distance. New VTX is a Walksnail Avatar GT, limited only by the Antennas. Should be fine for 40-50km max distance. Let's see how it goes, last flight with the old System was around 35km of travelled distance, using less than 50% of the 6.2Ah 4S2P Liion.

@tpetersons Great, I like this approach. Start basic and clean, and then add functions on demand. Not a ready made solution with 500 functions nobody needs, but important stuff missing.
Yes, it would encourage people a lot more spending time in writing content with high value, when you can be sure it can be still found months later.

It would be quite amazing if this here could develop to a kind of fpvlab. But for this we need subforums and thread views. Currently it's more like Facebook, where topics very soon disappear in nirvana. Are there any plans to give this here more a forum style direction?

This is a Nemesis, a 3d printed plane designed by Stunt Double. Available for free on Thingiverse, plus several other planes. Great bird, flies super stable and very efficient. Sorry for the messed up OSD, was still configured for DJI.WTF, not for the used O3 Air Unit...
