Cooked walksnail 1s vtx (V3) suspect : voltage spike, when powered only sign of life is the vtx heating up, no damaged components spotted from, can't even access the storage, any ideas? There is a shit ton of debug pins.... But first I need help with the diagnosis...
Man... What happened exactly, and are there any lights turning on? Those symptoms pretty much mean it's dead. Also what do you mean by debug pins?
Did you wire it? If so, where did you wire it to? I think all of the 1s vtxs are rated for 3.1-13v, so its impossible for a 2s quad to make enough voltage to fry it... right? Unless you plugged in a higher voltage battery of course.
Also, if its a bnf and it just smoked when you plugged in. They should totally replace it.
not really.... nope... if I had a thermal camera I bet it would be a breze to diagnose the faulty component....
no lights.... I suspect a voltage spike since the idiotic wiring and the lack of a capacitor in the stock Flywoo baby nano 2S BNF.... xd also... debug pins... I mean the tiny gold plated pinouts in between components.... that I asume are used for debugging, bypassing, etc....
