DIY Soldering Practice Kits: Building Oscilloscope and Power Supply
Learned to solder with these diy practice kits. Put together the oscilloscope, power supply, and ohm board from scratch. They come as blank boards with loose components and a wiring diagram. Not going to use them for stuff that needs high accuracy, but the scope did give a good test signal. Lots of fun and learning if you like puzzles, lego, etc.!

Its definitely the coolest one Ive done so far! Although the power supply not immediately blowing up was nice too lol

I've done the same oscilloscope and function generator kits! They're great for learning how to solder, and I've found the oscilloscope to be pretty handy in some other projects, despite its inaccuracies.
I found these instructions on how to make the oscilloscope work with USB power, and there's a mod included at the end that can make the reading much cleaner, but I haven't had the time to try either mod yet: https://www.instructables.com/DSO138-USB-Power-No-Boost-Converter/

Awesome!! I had no idea these were this popular. Thats a cool project for the boost converter, Im going to look at doing that. Very interested in better understanding boost converters for 1s li-ion builds!
