Receiver in Failsafe Mode: Need Help with FPV Setup
Guys help, I have a problem with the Receiver.
It's connected but the pads are not moving.
And says thats its in Failsafe mode.
Only that its the problem right now.
Do you guys have a solution for me?

is it the correct uart? My friend had the same problem too. @AlmondKing has the same problem with his baby ape.

I think so, when I change the UART's and save there's no differents. It can't be saved Idk.

This is assuming you are using an ELRS receiver/radio.
Check:
ports tab has 'serial rx' selected on the correct uart for the fc, generally they want you to use uart 1, 2, or 3
check you have correct channel map for your radio
confirm radio settings match receiver settings
add betaflight receiver preset (make sure to do this before you fly, if applicable)
If nothing else works, reflash + reset and make sure all applicable build settings are selected for the firmware
This happens a lot, I'll try to update if I think of anything else, but goggle/ai/reddit do have good solutions for this if you have to go deeper.

100% quadruple check the wiring on the receiver VS the FC. I toyed with my LR4 for 2 hours wondering what I did wrong in my settings... Had AI check my work 12 times... Reset to default and did everything once too... Turns out the "Plug and play" harness was anything BUT... Cut it, soldered it, worked like a charm.

I'll check again tomorrow, but I think everything is fine on the FC pad.

Probably because Failsafe is selected in the Modes tab. If you don't need Failsafe on a switch just remove it from the Modes tab.

@trenchevski you do gotta set that up, JB has extensive playlists and Oscar Liang's website has text/diagrams. it shouldn't necessarily have anything to do with this, but RF always has strange gremlins, at least in my experience. Is your radio set up?

Try reflashing fc this has worked for me once when i had this issue if it dosnt work try resoldering to a new uart and make sure the rx and tx are bound the rx led should be solid.

Is it connected to a battery or only to the usb cable? some flight controllers do not supply all UARTs with power when plugged in via usb. Are the receiver LEDs on?

yes, everytime with battery, every lights are on, works, but no movement.

I do indeed have the same problem I have not had time yet due to school to fix it, though I believe it is either on the wrong uart or there is a problem with the receiver I don't exactly know and im still looking for help sooo yeah idk I'll let you know if I find the solution though 😅
