Great Whoop

I love this whoop. I love how it flies, I love the form factor, it really is an awesome craft. The only complaint I have is durability and quality control. BetaFPV has been having some issues and I have recieved 2 of these quads with either fragile or broken cameras. Additionally, the solder joints on the motor wires are nowhere near secure enough. One of mine came undone while I was cruising over my house :/. Overall, I fucking love this thing. I just wish these issues were addressed.

Analog.

1. I like the low power draw and lightweight nature of the VTXs for whoops

2. I like that the breakup is very predictable and not sudden

3. Variable latency really screws with me. It almost feels like your wifi is lagging out in a video game (when it gets really bad)
4. It is very cheap/cost effective
5. It's easy to let friends watch you fly
6. It doesn't blast everyone else's streams out of the air, so it can be used with other people
7. It's completely open and any company can build hardware for it. This increases availability.

I was looking into buying the YMZFPV Lightning 2 today, so this post is a match made in heaven! It looks like a blast to fly around with and it will work perfectly with my analog goggles and Radiomaster pocket. I am a new-ish pilot and I am a huge fan of your videos and live streams. I Can't wait to catch you on your next stream :) About the DJI 04 Air units, they are making me consider switching to digital. I dislike the anti-consumer nature of DJI but I do own one of their camera drones. The 04 lite is especially appealing to me because micros are my favorite. Also, the 04 lite + goggles N3 combo is really tempting right now. Happy Flying! -TreyHam27 ❤️
