Patreon vs YouTube Memberships: Which to Choose?
I’m debating my renewal for tomorrow: Patreon or YouTube Memberships? On one hand, I know Patreon is better for the creator because they take a smaller cut, but the content there doesn't quite hit the mark for me. On the other hand, YouTube takes a much bigger slice, but I’d actually get to watch the 'Member Only' videos. What do you all think is the best move for a renewal? Big question!

I do have some Patreon memberships which offer things I don't get with YouTube memberships and vice versa. I choose based on that. I support a few content creators, software developers, musicians with memberships on both platforms this way. I don't think about which platform pays those people better because they chose to use it not me.

@jfpoulin I think it doesn't really matter which one you choose. Everyone involved with DIYFPV will be happy about it either way. That's what I meant with my former statement. So if the members-only content on YouTube is your thing choose this one. 😉
