Feedback on My 3" Freestyle and Cinematic FPV Build Idea
What do you guys think of my build idea?
I'm new to the hobby, want to fly freestyle and cinematic.
AetherFpv Amity frame (3")
T-motor VELLOX v1507 4s (~4100kv)
Speedybee F405 V2 40A AIO
DJI 04 Pro air unit
M10Q GPS module (for speed readings on my OSD, RTH and telemetry)
Gemfan 3106
Happymodel EP1 2.4GHz
4s batteries
Vifly Finder mini buzzer module
maybe add some LEDs in the future

Speedybee F405 V2 40A - if you mean the AIO ok, that frame dose not have the holes for a 30x30 stack double check that before your buy
the GPS if you only want speed in the OSD skip it you don't need that, get the GPS if you want the other benefits like RTH, and GPS telemetry to help find a lost drone.
Vifly Finder 2 buzzer module - get the vifly finder mini for a 3in or something like this https://a.co/d/07BP4KG1 for size and weight on a 3in
props those are ok you may want to sample a few different ones to see witch ones you like better, prop advice for new guys alway buy more props props are cheep, props are the first thing to go in a crash

if you want to learn freestyle, get a whoop first for durability, if you want to learn cinematic, also get a whoop first for stability. but yeah that build will fly fine. make sure to get some extra arms and an extra motor if you stick with a carbon frame and are going to learn on it. speed readings aren't super necessary if thats all you want the gps for, its not bad to have it for crash coordinates, but its extra complications for a first build.
you almost certainly dont want to be learning freestyle with an o4 pro for a first drone though, thats a very expensive repair for a beginner and stock can be hard to come by.

Sounds solid! But are you going to fly a camera too? If so I would HIGHLY recommend looking at a 5" build, ideally a dead cat layout. More torque, better flight time.

I would switch to GEPRC SpeedX2 1505 4300Kv instead of RateFpv.

The GEPRC SpeedX2 1505 4300Kv are almost twice the price, at least in my region.
Why do you recommend them over the RateFpv ones?

If you dont have enough money than go with the RateFPV motors but if you can afford motors like the geprc speedx2 I would buy them. The reason beeing RateFPV is fairly new and not really proven to work reliable. With companies like this its even possible that you get e.g. 3 properly working motors and 1 which needs to be replaced from the get go because of a pretty much none existing quality control.
