Perfect 2nd drone!

The Lightning II is a perfect second drone for those looking to get into outdoor flying. It has amazing handling, speed and is amazing value for money. I would like to see some more variance in battery mounts but rubber bands work fine for me!

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, this is a hardware issue and not much can be solved through betaflight I don't think. The issue is more a wire snapping in multiple places.

How can I repair my mobula 8?

The negative wire on the xt30 pigtail snapped at the fc and xt30 connector. I have very bad soldering skills.

Canopy is interesting. I might give that a go when my dryer arrives! Or… I could do it like a washer and print in PETT

Okay. So basically (crux 35) I should be all good so long as it is grass? I just don’t wanna have to keep buying replacement frames.

How much more do crashes hurt the drone on a 3.5 inch vs a Mob 8? Will pretty much every crash result in a prop or something else broken.

@jfpoulin oh and the dji stuff isn’t about you if that’s what you meant. It’s just that many people in our hobby don’t love DJI

No. This site is just in dev at the moment so there are some bugs and I spotted one so I mentioned tpetersons who is a site developer so he can fix the bug

If you’ve got a huge space and flown a drone before, I’d go for a 4s 3-3.5 inch quad.
