Tips Needed for Fixing My First Setback - Soldering Help?

I don't think there is any other way to fix it other than replacing the battery lead and connector by soldering a new one on.

If you're willing to try, it shouldn't be a huge ordeal. Get in and out fast to avoid too much heat getting into the plastic and make sure not to use too much or too little solder. Otherwise, you can just get new connectors for a couple bucks and just do the easier soldering on  the other end. 

The connector makes soldering impossible. Xt30+ are easier to work with when that happens. You'll prob need to stock up on some spare leads.

I have had success removing the pins from the connector before using a jeweller's screwdriver. You could try that otherwise just buy a few new connectors from your local or aliexpress 

Definitely looking into beefing up that connection in the future... 

E6000 to the rescue... I just stripped a small amount of wire and stuck it back together and it powered up so this will be a temporary fix till I get some leads. I was worried about using too much solder and crossing the wires so i'll stay away from that for now... I don't want to ruin my first whoop on my first repair. So new leads and a practice solder board are on the shopping list.
