Flying at Mosaic - A Great Spot for Long Range Rips

Just up the road from “tirefields forever” is a place I call “mosaic”. It’s a large open area with two large fields to fly in. I can also position my takeoff point where I can reach multiple long range areas that are over 1 ½ miles out as well.
The reason I call this place “mosaic” is because the rock formations resemble mosaic tiles and patterns. Check it out! It’s a great place for a roadside rip! Lots of trees, open space, gaps galore. And, we all know, “it’s all about the gap”, right?
Windy today, still fighting spring snow showers combined with rain. One might ask, why I fly in weather like this? The only answer I have is; “Because I gotta”!
