What Are Your Favorite Toothpick/Mini Quads?
I know this is kind of a niche question, but what are your favorite toothpick/mini quads? I just started flying the TinyAPE 2.5" and the BabyAPE pro V2 3.5", which is a huge step up from the Air65 and Mob8 I used as my steady flyers. There are not a lot of RTF/BNF options in this size (Grinderino for the win), so I'm curious if people are building and flying them.

I think my next quad will probably either be a Fiverino or Demibot build running Vista. Really dig the idea of the Grinderino frame w/ arms long enough to support 5" props.

Damn, same. Demibot or Moongoat if I feel I can manage to build it. If I have to buy, I've been looking at the Nazgul. HDZero box goggles kinda changes the whole game now. That's a thread of its own.

I got that Crux35, added the o4, then built the Grinderino up after I destroyed the Crux. I don't think there is a bnf of the Grinderino anymore. You can't even get the motors suggested. But I think I am building from now on. I don't think I am going to go with a toothpick again. Too easy to destroy. I like 3.5" for anywhere, but I am probably piecing together a 5" freestyle next.

75mm tinywhoop and 65mm. That is it. The grinderino is heavier, but more powerful. I really love it. Really strong too.

The only thing I know right away I'm really going to miss flying 3.5's is tiny gap proxy flying. I'm sure I can change my own mind diving some harder to reach gaps, but flying between pipes and the ceiling...so much fun.

I was really really close to getting a Drak, but I got the Mob8 instead. Glad to hear it's still a good choice!

I have a Nexa 3.5 EVO PRO (DJI O4 PRO) from AvionRC on the way, apparently an amazing tuned and balanced 3.5 inch. I share more once it gets here. Premium kind of quad but hey YOLO 😅
