Betafpv Controller Not Connecting to Simulator - Help Needed
Hi. For some reason my controller won’t connect to the simulator. I have a Betafpv controller. My desktop computer is a few years old so doesn’t have a usb-c port so It’s connected via normal usb. Could this be the issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

HI. I just tested this and it working on my end. One thing i noticed is that when i first plugged in the betafpv radio just now that it was flashing red... make sure that the button in the centre is slowly pulsing green like in this picture. I just flew mine with windows, and google chrome and the betafpv radio. (I'll attatch a picture)
maybe there is an option on the radio to switch it to sim mode? mine worked though as soon as I plugged it in twice.

I do have the green light on my controller but get the message "no radio detected"

Make sure that the transmitter is powered "off" before connecting the usb cable and then power it on.
Use a cable which can transfer data and not a "power only" cable.
Download the "ComPort Driver" if needed...

M4R5_FPV is right about the - STM32 Virtual COM Port Driver - I had to install this on my PC so it could connect to my Radiomaster Pocket. I was going around in circles for a while.

I just use the Pocket with bluetooth.

@hugofpv Yeah that's right - I have not tried the Bluetooth connection yet. I read somewhere it uses the up the battery more if Bluetooth is turned on all the time even if not using it (i.e. out in the field) - I dunno? But yeah wireless connection is way cool.
