New Analog Build - OSD Missing Troubleshooting Help
I got my new analog build together and got it out today for a maiden flight.The problem I have is that the OSD is missing and I'm not sure if I have a wiring issue or Betaflight issue.
Camera is Runcam Phoenix 2 JB edition, Speedybee f405 mini, and Rush Tank Solo 1w VTX. Camera is wired to power, ground, and cam pads on FC. VTX is wired to 9v and ground, data on VTX to TX on FC and Video to VTX pad on FC.
Goggles on and plug in the battery I get video fine but no Betaflight logo or OSD. I do have a notice in the the upper left that says UART CONTROL.

is there an osd pad on that board? for the cam signal wire to go into. we are working on our builder feature at the moment so this will be 100 times easier to show in the future with a propper wiring diagram

No OSD pad. Here is the diagram if it helps

There is an option on the osd tab that has format selection. Make sure it’s on auto and not PAL setting. And save. ( props off ) plug in and check. Also if you put your stats too far to the edge it will not show in the gogz and you will have to move them closer to center and save then check.

It is set to auto and even the elements in the center are not showing up. I also cannot access the smart audio menu in the goggles is another thing I found.

I’ll get a picture of my wiring for you tomorrow. I have the same camera and stack. Just mines 30x30 size.

This is how I wire it up. Osd works. However I do not use cam control or setup VTX tables I instead use the buttons on the vtx and set up my osd in beta flight and leave it. I believe you would have to run smart audio from the vtx to a UART and add the selected UART in betaflight to set up to use the vtx controller ect.

Mine is the same but I have the data wire from the VTX on T1. I pretty much copy and pasted the VTX table from Oscar Liang. I don't mind setting everything up in Betaflight and just leaving it. Maybe I'll remove the Data wire from the FC and see what happens.

I don't mean to state the obvious, but did you turn on osd in the configuration tab?

So I just realized I bought a "UART CONTROL version" of the camera where I guess the camera is set to default as joystick control. Would this be the source of my issue? How do I disable joystick control if the camera did not include it?
