Long-Range Setup: Antenna and Range Questions
Calling all long-range pilots! I've got a wildfire module with TrueRC X^2air (~10dbic) and a VAS omni (~2.5dbic). I have a Rush 1.6W vtx coming in, not sure about the antenna yet. What kind of range do you think I could do? Elrs is OP so that's not going to be the limiting factor lol.
Also, I'm thinking about upgrading to a Speedybee module. Is the range/video quality better?

Personally, I find the wildfire has better range, but depending on interference and the type of terrain you’ll be flying, I would expect about 4 to 6 km of range, for me I’m running a sky zone steady view X with a patch and a homage helical, on an AtomRC 1.6W VTX with a foxeer lollipop,

@LouisXVIII thanks, but word of advice get a dual prop, they are so much easier to launch and they have more power, look at the atomrc penguin
