Radiomaster Pocket Crush ELRS Version Connection Issues
Hey I’m new to the hobby and haven’t even recieved my drone yet. I recently purchased a radiomaster pocket crush form radiomaster website. I made sure to bye the elrs version and when it comes it said elrs version on it. But when I was trying to hook it up to my WiFi and simulator it wouldn’t work. So I went to the SD Card area on system and it says I have the CC2500 for some reason. Is this normal and if you have any solutions on how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it.

The SD card will often have firmware files that aren't appropriate for your radio. It's to simplify things in their end; one SD card image for all radio variants.
Have a look behind the module bay cover, there should be a sticker there that shows which version you have.

Okay it does say elrs in the back thank you. And just to be clear the radio is completely fine, and the sad card thing is normal?

yeah, just go into the settings and change the internal settings

Thank you all. I think my firmware is outdated which is weird because I just bought it, so I would expect the latest. Is their anyway to tell if it’s outdated and where to get the new firmware?

To see what is installed, press the system button, and cycle to the last page, page 7.
https://www.radiomasterrc.com/pages/firmware-updates Just get the one for Pocket ELRS. Do a backup before you flash it, just in case. Responder
