I might have destroyed my fc and esc...
I started building my fpv drone, but once I assembled everything I accidentally pluged my smoke stoper into my drone and then the battery into my smoke stoper. Suddenly i heard and saw some zaps and smelled a smell of burning. I disconnected the battery quickly and nothing was set ablaze, but now im not sure what components are broken and I am not sure what i should replace anf if i should risk turning the drone on to see if it still functions. Can anyone help me?

Might wanna grab a multimeter and go around the boards checking for a short. What kind of smoke stopper did you use? Because it sounds like it didn't do it's job terribly well...

i used some kind of TBS smoke stoper, but i didnt plug it in in the right order like I saw in a build tutorial. I am not sure if that made the difference tho

Can you share some photos of the soldering and fc? I had exactly this when I started, had a solder ball on my fc that I genuinely missed as being rookie 😁

i will send you couple of pictures tomorrow morning, but the drone is mostly disassembled since I wanted to mount the vtx and capacitor in a different way

this is hard to tell now that is has been disassembled. I would do one component at a time. solder up your esc to the xt60 and then plug it in and see what happens. Then you can check the other voltage out etc pads if that is all ok.

I connected the smoke stoper to the drone first, then I connected the battery to the smoke stoper, the tutorial i followed said to do it the other way around, but im not sure if that made the difference
