I built a 3.5 inch as my first, whether this was a good idea is debatable, but Now i know everything on my quads inside and out, so it helped me with the knowledge

as a beginner I definitely shouldn't of been making a video advising other beginners, and I plan to redo this video where I recommend a whoop instead

Syma x5sw wifi "fpv" drone- would not recommend, but it got me the first taste of having an eye in the sky. Next was the jjrc h36-toy version of the Blade inductrix (tiny whoop), accompanied by the eachine VR D2 box goggles and a 25mw "aio" camera/vtx-no acro mode but really gave me this sentence of being very small, and able see somewhere that I'm not physically at in real time. I wanted more, but didn't have a computer. So, I bought into the hobby store stuff: Spektrum d6xe transmitter (like $300ish) with a blade inductrix, slapped an aio cam on and learned acro on a calm day high in the air. That quad sucked, so I bought the blade Torrent 110, a 3s brushless quad with 2.2inch props. That's what I would consider my first fpv drone because it could really freestyle outside on a windy day. I was so hooked that when it broke I got a second one and parts to fix the first. Eventually I got a laptop an learned the the rest of fpv drone stuff. Now I fly first gen DJI air unit 3" quads with dji controller, and tiny whoops with a jumper t8sg v2 plus controller and those discounted eachine vr d2 box goggles-still working 😅

Wizard x220. Had no idea what I was doing. Still had fun. Bought a lot of props… haha.
