New to FPV: Help Choosing Frame for Sub 250g Drone

Hello I am new to FPV. I have a controller and did some flying in a simulator but I want to build a sub 250 grams 3 or 3.5 inch drone. I already have a camera + VTX (Walksnail Avatar Pro HD kit) it weights around 37 grams. I don't know which frame to choose. I looked at sub250 Oasisfly30 frame and also a Volador VX3.5 and heard that both are really good but I am not sure which to choose right now. Also I looked at an AIO and it seems that a lot of people use SpeedyBee F405 AIO 40A so maybe I will get that one. I will need an ELRS 2.4Ghz reciever and I don't really know if this part matters too much so I was just looking at the Happymodel ELRS 2.4G EP1. For the motors I will probably get 1404 motors and I like the sub250 1404 4500KV motor or Flash 1404 4500KV from FlyFishRC. Lastly for the battery I would probably be able to get a 4S 750mAh battery. What do you think of this potential build? Is it even compatible and what Frame, Motors, AIO or reciever would you recommend? I would be happy for any advice regarding building a sub 250 gram drone.

I think your build looks fine. i would go with the oasisfly 30 with an AIO (any 45amp one like the GEPRC GEP-TAKER G4 45A ) but a speedybee stack would be fine too. a 3.5" would have more weight (bigger motors, heavier frame) but you could make one under 250g. It also depends on where you plan to fly and your flight style.

Hello, thanks for the comment. At the start I will be flying on just a random field where there is a low chance to crash to get used to the drone but after that I would like to fly somewhere in a city. There are some regulations when flying in/near a city in Czechia though. The drone must be under 250g when privately built to be in a category of drones considered as suitable to fly in urban areas like cities. I would like to fly to take cinematic shots and also freestyle but I don't really expect my first drone to be capable of both so I would lean more to freestyle. Also is the Happymodel ELRS 2.4G EP1 a good enough reciever?

@Ranger yeah, happymodel is known for making good recievers so youll be fine with that. I would recommend a 3" if you plan to fly in a city (less noise).

@Ranger yeah, happymodel is known for making good recievers so youll be fine with that. I would recommend a 3" if you plan to fly in a city (less noise).
