Hello.
I have another question regarding the camera system I should use in my 3.5" sub 250 build.
I will use these parts for the build:
Frame: Volador vx3.5"
Reciever: Happymodel ELRS 2.4G EP1 TCXO
Motors: AOS Supernova 1605 3900KV
FC stack: GOKU F722 Pro Mini V2 45A
GPS: GOKU GM10 Nano V3.1 GPS
Propellers: Gemfan Hurricane 3525-3
Battery: depends on how much weight I will have for it but probably something from tattu or GNB
I decided from all the information I got from you and I found that I will go with DJI. Now I don't know if I should go with the O4 Pro or the O4 "lite" with flywoo wide fov mod. This is going to be my first drone and it is mainly a freestyle build but I would like to take some cinematic shots with it aswell. I am not sure if it's worth paying twice the price for the O4 Pro basically just for the better picture quality. The cost of the drone is high as is and I am on kind of a limited budget (I can afford the O4 Pro but still a lot of money).
I would like to know if it's possible to take nice cinematic shots even with the "lite" version or if it's almost out of the question. I saw some comparisions and the difference is pretty big but seems like the picture on O4 "lite" is workable but don't really know I've never really edited a video. And I would like to know what would you do in my possition. Buy the O4 Pro or the O4 "lite"?
Any other advice regarding my build or something that I should know before buying stuff would be also greatly apriciated.
Thanks to everyone who has replyed to me in other post or here, you have been a great help!

Hello. I have a question about the DJI vs Walksnail topic. I would like to fly freestyle but also use my drone for cinematic shots but can't afford to attach a gopro because of the weight limit. I was thinking between getting DJI O4 Pro air unit or the Walksnail Moonlight kit. The price that i found is almost the same (DJI is a bit more expensive as always). But I want to know if it is even worth to buy a walksnail system like the Moonlight when the DJI O4 Pro has really good latency, range, penetration and image quality. I know that DJI is not the best company when it comes to releasing updates or listening to the community, that is where Walksnail is much better. What I am also concerned about is the future. I don't know how long will it last me, because DJI is know for not keeping their old goggles up to date with their new systems like to DJI O4 pro, and because I would get the Goggles N3 I don't know for how long will they last me in regards to compatibility with new systems. That problem I think doesn't exist with Walksnail because even though I would be getting the Goggles L they seem to be fully compatible with even the newest Moonlight system which is not the case when it comes to Goggles N3 and the O4 pro system. I would like to buy the goggles and ideally use the for the next like 5 years without replacing them and I am not sure if that is possible with DJI. What do you think? Which system would you pick in my position? If there is something i didn't mention that might make a big difference please mention it.

Hello I am new to FPV. I have a controller and did some flying in a simulator but I want to build a sub 250 grams 3 or 3.5 inch drone. I already have a camera + VTX (Walksnail Avatar Pro HD kit) it weights around 37 grams. I don't know which frame to choose. I looked at sub250 Oasisfly30 frame and also a Volador VX3.5 and heard that both are really good but I am not sure which to choose right now. Also I looked at an AIO and it seems that a lot of people use SpeedyBee F405 AIO 40A so maybe I will get that one. I will need an ELRS 2.4Ghz reciever and I don't really know if this part matters too much so I was just looking at the Happymodel ELRS 2.4G EP1. For the motors I will probably get 1404 motors and I like the sub250 1404 4500KV motor or Flash 1404 4500KV from FlyFishRC. Lastly for the battery I would probably be able to get a 4S 750mAh battery. What do you think of this potential build? Is it even compatible and what Frame, Motors, AIO or reciever would you recommend? I would be happy for any advice regarding building a sub 250 gram drone.

Hello. I am new here and am trying to get into FPV. I live in Europe specifically Czech republic and don't have any gear or some experience with FPV in general and would like to know how much should I expect to spend to start flying. But I like the idea of building my drone from scratch and also I think it's a bit cheaper than buying a pre-built drone.
I watched some videos and looked at some articles and from what I understood I should firstly get a controller and a simulator to get used to flying a bit. I thought about getting the Radiomaster Pocket with ELRS. But after I play for a couple of weeks or maybe months (depends how bad will I be at it) I will want to buy a drone, goggels, batteries and a charger to get flying IRL.
So I looked on how and what goggles to choose and people said to first choose the system they use (HD zero, Walksnail, DJI) and I don't really like the HD zero because of the image quality so for me the question is between Walksnail and DJI. I am not sure if I can buy the Walksnail Ascent in Czech republic but I know I can buy the Avatar L goggles and also the DJI N3 goggles. I would be probably choosing between those 2 or 3 because they are the cheapest but still seem pretty good.
I like the DJI the best so far because of the image quality and the penetration but it is a bit more expensive than Walksnail. Aslo people say that I will be locked into their eco-system but what exactly does that mean? If it just means that I won't be able to use a different camera or goggles I don't think that will be a problem for me because I don't see myself upgrading those two parts anytime soon after getting my drone. I would like to have the same goggles and possibly even camera for as long as possible. But if it's not future proof for at least 5 years (if that is even possible in this hobby) then I would probably go with the Walksnail because the image quality and penetration isn't much worse.
Also I would like to know what are my options for a combination of indoor and outdoor flying. I saw that a 3" cinewhoop could be good for that but I don't know if it's actually good or not. And also I would like to know how long does a battery usually last.
I know that this is a very long text and would not be suprised if nobody would go through the hastle of reading and actually responding to it but still I would appriciate any kind of advice.
Thank you in advance!
