Introduction from NWFL: Excited to Join the DIYFPV Community!
Hello from NWFL
I really like the concept of this site. Trying to sort out the gak from the good info by all the normal means was too much work for me. I'm hoping DIYFPV.com will be the solution. Found out about it on Hack-a-day.
I live in an area surrounded by military airfields, so that poses a bit of a handicap, but I still think I might be able to find some people and places in my area to ease into this endeavor.
Best wishes to the site developers!

I saw a post yesterday on reddit but dismissed it. Was going through my Google newsfeed this morning and the hackaday article popped up so I decided to give this a whirl.

+1 from Hackaday. Complete n00b, but already dissatisfied with my what my dji toy (xmas) can do. I grok most of the gubbins inside, so know I could be doing a lot more with that h/w. Still, crashed it twice already. Hoping this site gets me plugging the soldering iron in again.
