Help: Front Right Motor Issues on My First 3-Inch Build
so i just finished a 3in build(first ever) but when i arm it the front right motor doesn't spin fast enough and gives out when i give it throttle any suggestions?
Double check your solder points, maybe you're not receiving full power through one of the connection pads and it's possible that it's grounding out or partially short-circuiting.
Double check the motor, make sure nothing 's protruding into it, around it, or that the center shaft screw isn't too tight. Also worth giving betaflight a check. Maybe you can try using the motor tool to diagnose it?
Absolutely. Double check anything and everything that has to do with the motors first, and then make sure that communities the communication cable between the flight controller and the ESC is intact.
I don't have the cleanest soldering skills in the world, I'll be the first to admit it, but I definitely triple check my shoddy craftsmanship all the time and try to be my own biggest critic that if something doesn't look right, I do it again!
@braxtonfpv ok, this is an important thing to note.
What is happening in betaflight when you raise the motor tab? does it seem normal in the betaflight motor tab? if you can tell me this we can probably have a good guess at what the issue is
if you cant get it working/have problems in the future, post detailed pictures of the boards/components/bf tabs if you can. that will help us find solutions a lot faster. hope you get it working soon!
