Best Budget FPV Goggles Under $250: Seeking Recommendations

Unfortunately at that price point you're going to  have to settle for Budget goggles more than anything so don't expect the greatest range unless somehow you can get a directional antenna on there. The EACHINE EV800D I would say is a very budget pair of goggles, but you can swap out the antennas and you can even pop it off as a field monitor.

the issue with the aspect rato is analog video is 4:3, if the goggles are also have a 4:3 screen perfect match if the goggles have a 16:9 screen then you either get black bars to cover the unused pixels or the image is stretch/warped to fit the screen line watching old TV shows or movies. a good goggle will let you chouse the bars or stretch to fit. not really an issue some may make it a bigger deal that it is

Unfortunately the vr04 analog version has been discontinued, wanted to suggest it to someone else earlier today and found out. The ev800d will give you the best quality, but they'll be uncomfortable to wear quicker. The HGLRC will be the most comfortable, but I dont know about the quality of signal.

There were some Fatshark attitude V6's with VRX and antennas for $250 Aud on the market place in Aus. I know very little about those goggles but fatshark has been around for so long im sure they would be plenty adequite if you are happy to go second hand.

I was in the same situation 1 month ago. The betafpv Vr 04s are discontinoued, i couldn't find original eachine ev800d so  I bought Emax Transporter 2 from hobbyrc.co.uk for 125 dolars and it arrived 2 weeks ago. I like it. It doesn't feel that much cheap and it is not so heavy so it doesn't sag (depending on the position your lens is. But I tried the furthest lens position and it is still not that saggy). You can also use it as a monitor which is good when you are testing osd or some settings in betaflight. The screen's quality is good for me. Colors are more vibrant than the monitor i used before. Only thing is you can't wear it with glasses. But I have -5 nearsightedness and 0.5 astigmatism and i can see it pretty clear. I think it is one of the best not used googles you can buy on this budget. But make sure to always look for good second hand deals.
