Advice Needed: Is My Battery Wrecked After Crash?
So I was flying for the second time today, and I crashed and I think my battery is wrecked but I'm not sure and I would appreciate if anyone could give advice or help me decide. I will most likely end up tossing it but if you have any ways of salvaging it or seeing if it's okay that would really helpful. This really sucks cuz I'm just getting into fpv and I'm still in high school without a job so its gonna cost a lot to get a new one. Thanks for any advice or recommendations.

Does it smell sweet-ish? a sweet smell is a sign of a destroyed lipo and should be disposed! if it swells is another hint to throw it out immediately. But if it doesnt smell sweet or swell its probably still good. For now definitely do a storage charge (3.8v per cell). Dont leave it charged as seen on the last image.

Others have given some good advice already about the smell-check.
I think the battery is probably ok, but make sure to charge it in a safe place always.
I recommend staying away from wood, curtains, walls, etc.
Maybe in a garage on concrete or somewhere similar would be a good place to charge. Even if the battery looks and smells ok its possible it could still catch fire if the damage is there but too small to notice.
