Tips for Sim Flying with Jumper T15 Before Buying My First Drone
Finally got my Jumper T15 radio and got to try some sim flying for the first time.
Want to rack up some hours before committing to buying (and breaking) my first drone. (Most likely Air65)
Anyone have any tips for the radio or sim flying?

Velocidrone or Lift off.
Dont worry about breaking air65, its seriously so robust its hard to break it.
Just order few extra props and you'll be good!

The air 65 actually comes with one extra set of props. I haven't need them and I've crashed a few times now on hard surfaces too.

The USPS just dropped off my radio also! Now at last maybe I can start learning to do this stuff.
I'm like a 10 year-old in a 60-something body.

Get that drone! Most tiny whoops are pretty durable and can handle a crash or 10.

@EpicPieFlavour set up a separate model for your SIM use and disable protocols/modules on that model.

@EpicPieFlavour go into your MDL button / Models menu MODEL SETUP tab , and you'll see bit for Internal RF. Go into it and turn off. If you've got a module it's the same idea with the External RF section

Velocidrone and Tiny Whoop Go are popular. If you get a tinywhoop (like air65) just fly that indoors, or a park if it's not to windy. Cruising a whoop in acro is the same as a bigger drone except how well it cuts through the wind.

I'm a new pilot but I have the air65 and 100+ hours on sim. I'd recommend only flying in acro on sim and drone. Learn to disarm quickly upon landing or hitting something. I like the Joshua Bardwell "Learn to fly FPV (for total beginners)" youtube series for getting tips on the steps of learning.

@kidkasu I did follow part of his tutorial but didn't connect fully with his pace so started practicing on my own.
Have been solely flying acro in Liftoff Micro Drones and have been getting the hang of it after a couple of hours of flying around.
