Tips for Flying My First 5-Inch FPV Drone
Jumping into my first 5 inch used from someone that went to extra length in bardwell server to give all pictures and video to show solid a quad. Currently Crux 35 is my biggest but any tip I should know?

Nascar fanatic or solder fanatic? Those look pretty shiny from that far away, good job!
Biggest thing is buy whatever you can get multiples of and just do that, but bigger! Thrust to weight Ratio!
Edit: you could get the vtx off the carbon/more in the center, you want it kind of away from everything for noise isolation, even the carbon, good job with the power routing! Ryan Quellet has videos if you want the full info.

I didn't solder anything it was done by him to an extent as he bought it used barely used and helped me learn by selling it cheap he has been super helpful with even mentioning about using right tools and what to look for ok used products

ohh gotcha, this was kind of confusing and I didnt understand this was a purchase, thought you were saying you went to extra lengths to build it.. Well they definitely knew what they were doing, at least from these pictures. Sounds like potentially a good deal, Im in that server as well and they mostly seem good. Still, be careful with future purchases. I only buy used if I can fly it and know for a fact that I personally can take it a part and rebuild it. The person who sold it might have been fully honest and just not know that "hypothetically" their esc is about to burn out or something like that, then you'd be stuck until you could replace it.

first 5in. congrats!
the first the you need to be aware of is how much power it has
your most likely use to hovering at like 35-40% trottle
the 5in hover around 15-20% throttle
ease it to it go slow until you get use to the power a little too much throttle and zoom its at 100ft.
for reference my 3in need 60% for a about a hole second to catch it self in a power loop, my 5in its a quick little bump. the whole power loop takes like 3-4 seconds that last bit to trying to fight gravity and catch it drone before smacking the ground is going to feel like and eternity when first learning power loops

I think thats exactly what I will struggle with is the lower throttle point and honestly might need to update control to full size gimbal from pocket but also know if you just to use it you'll be fine. Crux was that way for awhile do it being floaty as heck and props in view messing me up
