Sharing My AI Robot Project Inspired by Interstellar

This is not related to fpv so i hope i am not breaking any rules. I have been working on this for 2 and a half months and i really want to share this project with you guys. I burned a lot of boards, bought new ones, and burned them too 😂. What is it you ask? An AI robot inspired from Interstellar(TARS) that can look around, talk and look up information on the internet. It looks nothing like the robot from movie but it speaks like it(kinda) and It is really basic right now because it is my first raspberry pi project. I first started to make it with esp32 but burned it twice, so i switched to Raspberry pi. I don't have a 3D modelling experience for printing so i made the chasis out of legos because why not? Honestly I see no harm and you find it as a useful tool to others. It would different if you were looking for follows or trying to sell something.

Thanks! I love GPtars too. I don't need a 3d printer because there is a place near me that i can give the stl files and they print it for a reasonable price. The biggest problem is the walking mechanism. I could use the 3d file that Travis used while making the GPtars. But i kinda want to make my own desing and also learn 3d desing along the way. But i don't know, maybe i will use that 3d model.

Without knowing prices, I would recommend using the known file if you are paying per print to atleast see what the original design does. If you just did this project with the shop that might make sense,, but you'll definitely want a printer if you start to design stuff regularly. It takes multiple iterations for even really simple stuff if you want it to be good. I have 3 Bambu a1 minis and theyre great for quite a lot of stuff.

@AurilFPV I somehow got a 3d printer sitting on my desk right now. Oops 😅 I wasn't planning for that.
