Looking for Suggestions for My Next Agile Quad
My next quad?
I have been flying sims for years. Bought the avata 2 about 2 years ago. Mostly been flying manual.
I am looking for a smaller quad. More agile. But not too small. Not a tiny whoop. Something like lightning 2 would probably be perfect. But I want it with o4 system.
the flying I want to do more of is freestyle and I want to be able to repair it easily myself.
any suggestions?

If you don’t mind building there’s the mini apex or the mini alien. There’s other smaller frames as well. Maybe 3” ? 3 or 4 s batt should give you some serious power with decent motor and prop combo.

Can’t seem to find the frames you are talking about. Is the brand mini?
I am not opposed to building. I know how to solder and am doing different small Esp32 projects around the house.

My bad, the brand is ImpulseRC they been making some very good frames for a long time. There are different sizes there on the site. And the last 2 frames I got from them come with a warranty. If you smash it up let them know. It covers one full frame replacement. They are not the cheapest for sure. But are among the best.

Hi there, i can’t help you as I’m a newbie but can I ask you about how to start on simulator, I don’t have a pc or Mac and know I shld begin with a simulator
I only have an iPad and would love the avatar 2 as it looks like where I should start seeing I don’t want to do repairs just some photography
Do I spend money on a computer for the sim, and if so what machine will be adequate to fly Liftoff.

Don’t know. I haven’t owned an iPad for many years.
If you ”just want to do some photography” itdoesn’t sound like you want an fpv drone.
Look at something like DJI flip or mini. You won’t need to practice in a simulator for those and they are made for photography

Ok, so after flying my friends air 65 and watching this video https://youtu.be/y0nmZ0B53to
I went and ordered the parts to build a meteor 75 pro o4. With orange frame (I like being able to find it easily in the grass). Looks like it really can rip outdoors and my friends air 65 is basically a bumper car. His first drone and it takes a beating and just keeps flying.
