Best Digital FPV Options for Radiomaster and Whoops?
Ok, so I haven’t gotten a straight answer to this question yet… so, FPV community, let’s settle this!
Considering that:
✔️ I have a Radiomaster
✔️ Whoops are my thing
✔️ I’m sticking to digital! (no analog for me :))
✔️ I want to avoid the “evil DJI empire” approach
👉 What’s my best option moving forward? HDZero? Something else? Let’s hear it! 🚀

what do you value most, racing and latency or picture quality? I would only choose HD zero for racing. ive flown walksnail as my main for all of 2024 and its great. It may not be perfect but its still pretty awesome.

Yeah, if you don't need the latency of HDZero and are opposed to DJI, then Walksnail is about the only digital option. HDZero looks good and all but it's no Walksnail/DJI.

Have you seen openIPC as of recent? It's quite cool.
It can also do 1080p120fps

@jfpoulin it’s barely an improvement in image quality because they use such small sensors and have low fov, so really the downsides far outweigh the benefits

It’s simple, for whoops analog is really the only option, then it’s HDZ. also I’m pretty sure that’s the pocket not boxer

If DJI is a no go. This is currently the only way. You could look into OpenIPC FPV. I don't think it's where you'd want it to be, mostly DIY. But it looks great.

@ToClose the current open ipc options wouldn't fit on a whoop and they are also too heavy. use the mini walksnail 1s units if you want to have hd whoops.
