I'm a musician and techie living in Nashville. I try to carve out a little time here and there to fly whoops and twigs.

I'll answer my own question. I have had good results using SUNLU High Toughness 3D resin. I've also experimented with different canopy designs and found a two-piece solution. Now the camera is attached to the frame and the canopy can get smacked around without jeopardizing the camera.

Should I fix my Tinyhawk S or use the parts for something better?

Hi. I have a Tinyhawk S that suffers from the "random motor not spinning on arming" issue. I've heard the FC is the problem. I was going to buy a Tinyhawk 2 FC but it costs $75 and as I recall, this little guy flew like a brick with 1S and wouldn't land easily with 2s.

Can you recommend another FC and frame that I can use with the same motors and camera? Bonus if I can keep the plugs on them. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone print parts with a resin printer? I was so proud of my skeleton whoop canopy print that I made with "ABS-Like" resin until my first indoor crash. Now I'm looking for a more flexible resin option. I still like the STL though: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2816445

@LouisXVIII I have its predecessor (which has no receiver and is out of production)

@LouisXVIII So something like this and then attach whip antennas? https://geprc.com/product/geprc-elrs-dual-2-4g-diversity-receiver/

Diversity aside, how much worse are those tiny ceramic block antennas. I like the idea of keeping antennas away from props.

Or maybe this is the most efficient route since it's available with built-in ELRS: https://geprc.com/product/geprc-taker-f411-8bit-12a-aio/

What ELRS receiver would be appropriate to add to my GEPRC Skip 3? It uses this flight controller: https://geprc.com/product/gep-12a-f4-flight-controller-12a-esc/

I see a few options that have diversity and that sounds pretty cool. My main concern is aesthetics. The Skip has 2 tubes sticking upward where I had previously routed my FrSky antennae. The ELRS receivers seem to have crossbars at the top of their antennae and I don't see how that would fit with this frame. Do I need to zip-tie those to the frame?

What do you think? Thanks for your help.

I just checked the box again and I actually have a Hummingbird F4 Pro (2nd gen) rather than a Hummingbird V2. The FC was Frsky and it's shaped differently than the new board.

I'm looking for an AIO board to get my NewBeeDrone Hummingbird v2 back in the air. I've pretty much accepted that I'll need to switch to ELRS to fly anything new. Would this board work with the v2 frame and camera? If not, what would you recommend I use? Thanks in advance.
