New to fpv in august 2025. I built my own quads and love it. I fly almost all Walksnail Avatar. I'm also into 3D printing. For aircraft I have NewBeeDrone hummingbird v4, Home Built speedybee bee35 pro, Home Built Flyfish Volodor VX3, Home Built Apex Evo DC5, Home Built Mark 4 clone 10". Home built Volodor VX3.5 with HDZero. 3D printed Flightory Stallion VTOL

Fast connection.

It links up quick with lots of satellites. I can get 19 from inside my house. Over 30 with a clear sky

love them

Living in the USA now this is probably the best we can get. It has great range, I like the ease of binding. Image quality is pretty good. Updating the firmware is a bit weird with having to connect an external special usb cable, but weird cables seem to be a Walksnail thing all around. I own 3 of them now, 2 complete units and 1 dvr unit connected to a GT.

Stout ESC

I paired this with the KISS ultra V3. It worked flawlessly with the kiss, was a breeze to orient the motors and correct rotation, I've flown it twice pretty hard. Very happy with how responsive it is.

LOVE THIS THING!

What an easy FC to setup. I've built 4 other quads with Betaflight, which is great mind you, but the simplicity of the KISS GUI is way nicer. I don't have the knowledge yet to tinker with all the settings on Betaflight. Right out of the box, kiss ultra exp default tune and it flies locked in and amazing. Zero prop wash, zero bounce back. Absolutely responsive and almost flies intuitively. It's the Apple of FC's. I put this in an Apex EVO DC5 frame with an addpex conversion, walksnail moonlight, KISS ultra V3, Voltara 70a esc. vci spark 2207 1750kv motors, ethix PB&J props(props out), SMC 1400mah 6s battery, betafpv true diversity elrs@250hz. 674g all up weight

FPV flying has quite literally saved my life. I only got into it about a year ago when I started dealing with severe pain constantly. Turns out I have RA and started, am still having, quite the flare up. I've lost most of my hobbies just due to them causing me too much pain, being to physical, etc. I found FPV videos while I was off of work for surgery. I got myself a controller and a sim. I felt immediately connected to it. after about 20hrs in the sim I took out my first quad, a bee35 pro built by myself. what a rush. I've been hooked. I feel absolutely free when I can fly like a bird on coke. Get my mind to a way better place and something to look forward to and enjoy that is low impact. I've build 5 quads now, 2in, 3in, 3.5in, 5in and a 10in. I'd say my fly fish volodor vx3 and my apex evo DC5 are my favorite. Seems like it's limitless for me to keep my brain occupied and learn things. I'm impressed by all the very smart people in the hobby and love to learn from them
