Recommended Battery for Walksnail Goggles X?
I ordered the Walksnail Goggles X. They should be here this week.
What battery would you recommend for them?

If you use anything above 2s, it will try to run the battery down to way below what is considered damaging for lipos which is 3.0v. 3.0 (volts) times for instance 4 (cells) is 12, the goggles X will work down to 7v, so it will basically try to kill the battery. I use a 3s, but I regret getting it because I've almost ran it down too low twice lol. I would use a 2s just so I don't have to worry about it.

@drgerg yeah he's totally right, if you can find a good 2s lion that would be great. I personally just picked the highest capacity xt60 I could fine bc I already had an xt60 charger.

What was your thought process for choosing the Goggles X over other systems?
Am stuck with choosing between all systems, they all have their up- and downsides.

I read a lot and watched a lot of Youtube. I was already certain I intended to stay away from DJI, so that left Walksnail or HDZero. Everything indicated HDZero's biggest advantage was its low latency, while the Walksnail goggles had a significantly lower price and a design that favored hardware updates.
Neither are cheap by any stretch, but I could stomach the $450.00 for the X easier than the $650.00 for the HDZero.
Also, for me, racing will likely never be something I do, so the difference in latency was less of a factor than it would be to a serious racer-type.

My friend has them, a high capacity 2s maybe even with parallel cells is what seems best. They kill lower capacity 18650s like their not even there. On the order of a pair of drained batteries ever flight or two. Would definitely not recommend something like the Fatshark pack. What @Motts was saying about a Power bank sounds about perfect.
