Making Progress
Making good progress using Liftoff on Raven (laptop). The computer runs it smooth as butter. The Boxer controller works great! I'm following Joshua Bardwell's 20-part Youtube series, and that is helping a lot. I tried switching from thumb to pinch on the sticks, and I absolutely like pinch better. I have more control over the throttle and yaw, which was a real problem for me. Getting better!

I was thumbed at first too and switch to pinch. Definitely more control just takes some time getting use to. I also run the boxer for my 5” and the zorro for my whoops. Keep pushing man!

I hear you, I'm following the same path. Fifty hours to work out whether I was a thumber or pincher. Pocket controller and both Liftoff sims plus Stew and Bardwell etc. I'm still puzzling out which digital camera system and goggles to get. I keep flip flopping as I watch all the different videos on YouTube. I have a reasonable 'once only budget' and hope to be able to get a bash and crash learner and a 'good one'. I have to stick to sub 250 gram due to where I live. Plus I'm old and can't climb trees or wade through swamps to retrieve drones. Wide open spaces for me. Trees are 'dicks' so I hear. There is so much I need to learn.

I started out as a thumber, then switched to pinching and it instantly felt so much better.
