Hey everyone!
New to the hobby, should I steer clear of DJI products with the ban? I was going to purchase the N3 googles and the O4 flight unit for a Pavo 20 build but then I saw a video about the ban and now I'm unsure which route to go.
Any recommendations welcome, thanks.

I would choose walksnail instead DJI with the ban in your country.

I second @M4R5_FPV , after the ban there will be no upgrade path and no restocking, making parts more rare and therefore more expensive. It's like starting at a dead end.

Wait just curious now, what brands were affected in the U.S.? I know DJI (obviously) was banned, but is Walksnail still available then? I haven't checked but kinda wanna swap to a HD system from analog at some point.

@BreakerBuilds Just a disclaimer I'm not a US citizen or are very up to date with DJI/Walksnail. I think walksnail will remain available as long as caddx decides to manufature them. To my knowledge only DJI was affected. Also tarifs makes stuff a lot more expensive I assume.

Probably go with Walksnail if you want future availability and support. The risky side of me would say Dji if you don't care. I have still been able to get o4 lites, and I know flywoo repackages the o4 pros. I have enough stock to hold me over and swap out between new frames, but at some point I will be going walksnail too. It's going to be a "downgrade" depending on who you ask, but like I said in the first sentence, it's what we got with support.

I live in germany, but I really like the Pavo20 (pro) with walksnail.
