Goals for Tuning My FPV Drone: Propwash, Safety, and Weight
I want three things out of this tuning stuff at the end.
1 as little propwash as possible
2 to still fly back after a crash/bent props
3 and know it is safe to rip hard and not worry about melting motors or esc’s.
when it’s done I will share my BF settings here, maybe it will help some one, and my build.
AUW with go pro and added strap is 634g as of right now. That’s with the extra hardware/ plastic stuff and a self powered beeper.
I will also drop all not needed weight and share that as well. With video for each when they are tuned well and reliable. This tuning stuff is a lot of fun to me, I’ll post results in a day or two, keep on rippin!

I think its more important to write down the process and share over your tune settings. Every quad is different, weight distribution, power, frame vibrations, IMU....etc. So the tune settings on their own just isn't that useful. Thats why I like Chris Rosser's guides and videos, as he shows the tuning process while teaching you at the same time.

He does great tuning videos. For me it’s the trial and error and learning the why a certain parameter makes it fly differently. I just like doing it myself I guess. There’s enjoyment in it to me. And if it works well it surely won’t hurt to share my findings. Keep rippin!
