I have been a musician for over 60 years now. To me, FPV is a lot like mastering a musical instrument and writing music. The controller, goggles and quad are liken to a musical instrument. And, like the musician, the FPV pilot, has to meet the same stringent demands and dedication needed to master their art. In other words, it takes a lot of work! Like music, FPV has many different genres (styles). Each style is a unique personal artistic expression. From a ballet in the sky, like long range cinematic freestyle, to the abstract, jazz like, expressionism of sbang. FPV fills the ticket! I would like to thank all of the other wonderful pilots, for sharing their amazing FPV accomplishments with me. Why do we fly? Because, we gotta! Fly safe, fly free! - oldguyFPV

@GanDad Destroying quads, is all part of the learning process! Crashing is going to happen - a lot! If you're not crashing, you aren't learning! Fly, crash and fix! It's all part of the fun brother!!! No matter what happens, you just "gotta" keep on rippin!!!!! 😁

I posted this on my youtube channell; "That stadium has taken the life of more than one quad! The last time I crashed there, it took three motors, one frame arm, a receiver, four props, a fpv camera, an HD camera power cable, HD camera housing, and flattened a 4s battery like a pancake! But, I keep going back for more! Why? Because, I gotta! "😁

Little late in the season to take me out to the ball game. But, I can go back to the ball park to do a little stadium rippin with my 5" quad! So, I did! Why? Because, I gotta! I gotta rip that shit!! And, I enjoyed every minute of it! Hope you enjoy it too! Thanks for watching!

Now that I’m feelin better, it’s time for some roadside rippin. Flyin my 5” today! I call this place “silverback”, it’s part of an old silver mine. Fun spot, nice easy access, just in case I have to tangle with a tree being a dick! We all know that #treesaredicks – sometimes! But not this time!

It's easy to pick up some magnetic sand in your motors after a crash. You don't want to run the motors until you remove it, it can damage the motor. You can try blowing it out with your mouth, works ok! Or, you can purchase compressed air in a can to remove it, or, do like I do and keep a compressor in my van to blow the motors clean. 😁
