Co-founder of CvilleFPV based in Charlottesville Virginia. I have been flying quadcopters since early 2015 in the early days of Betaflight and FPV hardware. Mostly focused on acro and cine-type 5" FPV flying with some FPV plane action mixed in. I am also a professional Real Estate Photographer in my area.
Typically land lords must give you a notice 30 days before the eviction date, not sure on the laws in Cali are, but I do know they very much favor tenants. Since your mother passed away though there might be other regulations the land lord must abide by properly or face litigation, especially if you were living there with her. Explain your situation in detail to AI and it'll give a quick breakdown of the laws in your area and what to do next.
More thinking along the line of extending the frame a bit more to protect the camera. It would add a little extra weight but as-is the camera isn't very protected.
@AurilFPV Not sure what that has to do with my post. They aren't dropping weights on each other over there...rather something of the more exciting variety.
Looks great, does this class of quadcopter rip? Love to build one, hate how whoops fly but would love something smaller and quieter than my 5” quads. Short term i might build a 3”. One thing to add, the lens looks like it could use a little more protection? Maybe add another 2-3mm?
5", 7", and 10" FPV drones are used in Ukraine. 5" is used mostly against infantry as they can carry the payload necessary while also flying more easily indoors.
Its all about the payload and range, not whether "it can break bones"
You’re coming along nicely, keep practicing. Something i suggest is trying to slow down and get LOW. Reduce camera angle, at least at first. Try hitting those smaller gaps around your property and keep your altitude consistent. Do tight orbits, plenty of great features on your property to fly around.
