Protecting BT2.0 Connector on Meteor75 II with Liquid Electrical Tape
New pilots and Meteor75 II owners may be interested. A small plastic end cap on the BT2.0 connector flicked off. I was using my fingernail to remove/leaver the plug from a battery when it happened, so wiggle them off instead. Everything still works fine - all I did was apply some of this liquid electrical tape to give some reinforcement/protection against the possibility of shorting out the lead. The liquid tape is easy to use - apply in thin layers every five minutes (I used a toothpick) and it cures in 24 hours. Good to go.

Yeah it happened to me on my old MEteor... good advice!

elegant fix! ive noticed this a lot with the smaller sizes of bt2.0 and xt30, some of them wear in a bit, some of them stay stiff. All my hdzero connectors have stayed pretty stiff. plastics are fascinating haha

Thanks - I could have super glued it back on but I thought it may also pull off the solder joins if it happened again. This liquid tape looks good when dried. 😀

@GanDad thats a good call not super gluing it, I'll probably snag a tube of this stuff for the future. if you want an option other than standard super glue for next time, E6000 is really great. It's holding together several whoop frames and antennas for me. strong, but flexible and waterproof

Happend too me on my air65 2 I just super glued the piece back on and I have not noticed anything wrong with it idk tho

i hate the bt 2.0 plug for that reason get the nx69(newbee drone)
