I just thought I give it a go.. I m still not sure which one I will use. The only thing I know for sure is that I won't use DJI. while being top of the line, it's too expensive for me. I do have an unused analog as well as a RubyFPV system.. probably will use one of those but walksnail looks interesting aswell 🤣

Sorry newb question: can you laser cut those layers of fiber? I have a cartesian 3d printer that I wanted to convert with a cutting laser. I'm wondering if that would be useful if I wanted to make custom plates like you're doing. Save myself from getting carpal tunnel syndrome! (I'm old haha)

Yes it should be possible to laser cut it. It would definitely save some time and possible injuries 😁.
But I would read into it before going ahead as certain lasers will create issues as carbon is conductive. Many things like cutting speeds etc. make also a difference in quality of the cuts.
