How To Improve Analog Range?
Hello, I bought Meteor 75 Pro(analog) a year ago. I am having really fun with it but my range is not so good. I have Geprc patch antenna(rchp) and Rushfpv chery 2(rchp) on my googles. On the whoop I got betafpv’s stock linear antenna. I tried 400mw but it is nearly same with 200mw. What can I do to improve my range? I know I have to buy a rchp antenna for my whoop so the antennas can talk to each other better but is there any other solution too? Thanks.

It's a long shot, but if you're in the EU, try antennas from prodrome.pl
Also how bad is your range exactly? Whoops don't fly very far and your patch antenna can be a downside of painted away from the whoop

I am not in EU. I am getting maximum 100 meters on 400mw. And I point the patch antenna to the whoop.

Replace the stock antenna with a proper Omni and it will increase the range. Those stock dipole linear aren't good.

Ok i am thinking to buy cherry2 antenna with the ufl socket. But i got a question: Will it affect the balance because of the weight?

it will definitely affect weight and therefor also flight time etc.. you could also just replace the stock whip antenna with a better one. e.g. https://truerc.com/4108-5543-d-pole-5g#/430-color-black
Stock antennas are never any good... as you pointed out earlier just make sure that goggles and drone have either lhcp or rhcp. do not mix them otherwise the range will be terrible or completely gone.

When a linear antenna is connected to an RHCP antenna, wouldn't the range be worse than when one RHCP antenna is connected to another RHCP antenna?
