Feedback Request: Improving Our FPV Product Catalog
Hey,
Quick question, any more feedback about our current product catalog?
Right now we are adding specifications for products, so we can enable much more filtering options.
This will also allow us to start calculating weights and do some compatibility checks in the builder.
Recently we updated how the search works and also added "default" store currency if it differs from your settings, trying to better indicate that the store is probably from a different region than yours.
If you have more ideas of something we haven't yet discussed, we would love to hear!
PS. Dashboard categories && search is coming in a few days. 👀

Would it be worth considering adding a category for "3D Print Models" that consists of a recommended collection of free or paid 3d models from Printables, Thingiverse, Makerlab, etc?
I'm sure there's a lot of crossover between 3d printing enthusiasts and fpv pilots and I know I would love to get advice on good prints for cases, tools, frames, etc.

Not sure if this would fit in the product catalog or somewhere else but it would be neat if people could "recommend" certain products?
Might be redundant due to product reviews perhaps but just thinking out loud.
Also, this might just be due to websites listing their products as options attached to other products, but I often see items with "weird pricing".
Then when I visit the site, it is because an accessory for the product is actually listed, with the much lower price ofcourse.
Examples are the Walksnail Goggles, both listed as less than 10eu.

Also, this might be nitpicking but when searching for an item it is nice that suggestions appear in a dropdown.
But it'd be nice if it would show all search results when pressing enter/submitting the search instead of having to press "view all products"
Just something i've run into multiple times now so thought I'd mention it.

Perhaps a wishlist function. There's plenty of stuff I want to buy, and it would be nice to collate it all so when I do want to buy, it's all in 1 spot.

Not sure how feasible. But recommendation link. Buying a boxer? Here’s some receivers that go with that. DJI 04 air unit…goggles. Maybe? Maybe not. Just a thought.

More parameter based searching.
Ex. Motors
Slider from 5-30 for Diameter, 2-12 for the height, and 600-100,000 for the KV (or whatever the limits actually are as the hobby progresses)
So if you want something like a 1303 4,500 KV but want more options around that rather than just that specific size you could put in a range bounding your limits
On a related note, if spec sheets could be harvested from sights that list them to show more detail (preferably that can be searched or filtered through) such as efficiency under load and thrust for a given current and voltage that would be spectacular for building out the perfect quad for your design
