Thoughts on Future Proof Digital Goggles with Analog Support?

Goggles X and HDzero goggles are the only ones that can also do analog. Goggles X should be fairly future proof for walksnail (upgrade board for future system), the analog isn't super great unfortunately.

It’s pretty clear cut, unless you don’t like the HDZ system, but the HD0 goggles do analog and HD0 are the best

I went with the Goggles X for this very reason. The digital receiver in them is removable and can be replaced with the latest and greatest as it’s released. You don’t have to buy a whole new set of $500 Goggles. You can also add an external analog receiver to them like the TBS Fusion.

I got a set of head mounted display goggles for the PC, since they're well less than half the price and then the HDZero monitor/reciever. Now whenever my stuffs obsolete I just have to replace the receiver part and the goggles just take mini HDMI for whatever that ends up being. Mind, you can get way better goggles for a hundred or so dollars more, but then you're getting into the realm where built ins are more reasonable again. Just gotta be sure whatever one's you get only need HDMI in and either have a battery or can take a simple power in. (Some I looked at used USB and HDMI and wouldn't work without noth being connected to the computer)

Not to keep beating the same drum, but HD-Zero is the best all day for both digital and analog FPV quads. I fly 7" LR and 5" digital all the time and HDZ never disappoints. Good luck on your purchase!
